Key Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a pivotal ambassador of the TFG Human Resources employer brand.

This role will design, develop, and implement a comprehensive model for attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent, aligned with business and brand strategies.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing end-to-end processes for attracting and tracking new employees, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  2. Engaging with external stakeholders, including agencies and higher education institutions, to build strong relationships and identify potential talent.
  3. Designing and implementing a youth pipeline recruitment strategy, focusing on graduates, learners, interns, trainees, and bursaries.
  4. Developing and managing the onboarding process for all business units across stores, distribution centers, manufacturing, and contact centers, as well as head office.
  5. Designing and implementing a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and internal digital talent marketplace to enhance the recruitment process.
  6. Ensuring compliance with talent management policies and processes, including pre-employment verification, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • HR-related degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on design and development.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of people management processes, talent recruitment, and sourcing.
  • Excellent design and systems thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take strategic thinking into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
