Strategic Account Development Executive

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to secure growth opportunities and profitable sales in Africa, focusing on dry flavours and seasonings.
- Establish strong customer relationships and manage activities across various functional areas.
- Prioritize, manage, and grow opportunities within the innovation funnel to attain profitable sales growth.
- Contribute to volume and sales forecasts based on customer input, business intelligence, and analysis.
- Implement customer pricing strategies to maximize profits.
- Be a critical contact for McCormick, driving customer penetration through innovation and proactive customer intimacy.
- Participate in industry events and associations.
Candidate Profile:
- BA in Business, Food Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG with international companies.
- South Africa business-to-business sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software and Integrated Business Planning is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of product technical aspects, nomenclature, and manufacturing process implications.
- Valid driver's license for business travel.
- Excellent communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Structured, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Proven project management skills in sales cycles.
