Job Title: Compensation Strategist


Company Overview:


ABC Worldwide is a leading organization seeking a skilled Compensation Strategist to lead our rewards team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in rewards strategy and policy development, particularly in the BPO and call centre sectors.


About the Role:


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to design, maintain, and update Compensation & Benefits policies. This role involves effective communication of these policies to employees, collaborating with the Global Rewards team to develop dashboards and analysis of compensation and benefits metrics, managing data processes, and preparing comprehensive reports and analyses of compensation data.


Earn:


A competitive annual salary, estimated at R1,200,000 - R1,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Design, maintain, and update Compensation & Benefits policies and ensure effective communication of these policies to employees.
  2. Partner with the Global Rewards team to develop monthly and quarterly dashboards and analysis of compensation and benefits metrics.
  3. Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and pricing of jobs to ensure competitive compensation structures.
  4. Manage data processes as required by internal and external sources, including resolving data errors and partnering with HR shared services as necessary.
  5. Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses of compensation data, and partner with HR Business Partners and management to review findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  6. Work closely with other HR team members and functional areas to investigate and resolve escalated employee issues related to compensation and benefits.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits roles, preferably within a BPO or call centre environment. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.

We are looking for a professional with proven experience leading compensation and benefits programs at an organizational level, a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures with a focus on benefits and compensation planning, and the ability to design and implement effective communication strategies for compensation and benefits policies.
