Claims Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join our team at Status Asset Management. As a Claims Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that client claims are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that client claims are captured correctly within SLA, minimizing delays and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Follow up on all outstanding claim documents to facilitate smooth processing and timely payments.
  • Answer calls, log claims accurately, and provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Provide detailed notes on claims, set reminders, and liaise with clients to keep them informed.
  • Perform day-to-day administration tasks and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in long-term insurance.
  • 2 years of experience as a Claims Administrator.
  • Grade 12 certificate (Matric) and RE5 certificate advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of the Insurance Industry and computer literacy (MS Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook).
