Job Title: Commercial Claims Consultant

As a Commercial Claims Consultant at People Dimension, you will be responsible for handling commercial claims, ensuring confirmation of cover, and reporting claims effectively. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate claims management and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle commercial claims, including Heavy Commercial Vehicles claims, from registration to settlement.
  • Ensure confirmation of cover is completed correctly.
  • Report and handle commercial motor and non-motor claims.
  • Communicate with clients, insurers, solicitors, and other parties via phone and written communication.
  • Manage claims effectively, adhering to the SLA agreement.
  • Adequately reserve claims.
  • Assist with administrative functions and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain the claims filing system efficiently.
  • Update clients on claim progress via phone and email.
  • Advise clients on general queries and claims issues.
  • Request payments correctly within mandates.
  • Manage compliments and complaints according to business processes.
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Clear credit and criminal record.
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA.
  • Relevant FAIS (150 crédits) & FAIS RE5 (compulsory).
  • Short-term claims experience in Personal and Commercial Lines.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in short-term industry.
  • Motor and Non-Motor experience.
  • Computer Literacy – MS Office: Work, Excel, Outlook – Intermediate Skill level.
  • Reliable transport.
