About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Business Consultant to join our team at Sanlam. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service support and maintaining and growing relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Manager in servicing brokers and achieving monthly inflows targets
  • Support Business Development with administration and product training to Broker Assistants, Broker Consultants, Broker Office Personnel, and Brokers
  • Travel to and train Broker's/IFA's and their assistants on the administration side of investment products and IT systems
  • Manage the Broker Database
  • Perform and provide analysis for Brokers
  • General day-to-day tasks associated with supporting the Regional Manager when dealing with clients and Intermediaries (Brokers/IFA)
  • Telephone enquiries and written communication
  • Assistance to Client/Intermediaries with regards any business queries
  • Distribution of Marketing Materials, application forms, and brochures
  • Office Administration (co-ordinating of Managers' diary, preparing documentation, as well as overall smooth flow of day-to-day tasks)

Requirements

  • Grade 12 with 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within the investment/collective investment service industry – ideally with international exposure
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/CFP/RFP 1/2/3 will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of economic principles, environment, and investment products
  • Exposure of the Investments/Sales Environment
  • Knowledge of Unit Trusts, Linked Products, and Offshore products and investments
  • Valid Driver's License (and own transport)
  • Communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
