Senior Business Expansion Specialist

This position reports directly to the Head of Market Expansion and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, analyzing and cultivating strategic partnerships. As part of the role, the Senior Business Expansion Specialist will engage in managing the existing business relationships and executing the launch of new territories and partnerships.
The Senior Business Expansion Specialist will be required to provide strategic focus to ensure the growth of our existing new territories within their portfolio through cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Internal Liaison takes place across all internal departments, where external liaison takes place with existing business relations and new partnerships.

Qualifications
- Grade 12/ or equivalent (Essential)
- Degree: Business, Commercial, Finance, Economics, or related (Essential)
Experience (Minimum 5 years)
- Experience in a similar Business Development or Market Development role
- Experience in developing business in African countries other than South Africa (desirable)
- Strong experience in a Financial Industry and understanding of remittances
