Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team at MNA Recruitment (Pty) Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our Respiratory portfolio to Pharmacy groups within the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to work with a leading pharmaceutical company and make a real difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote sales in and out of Pharmacies and service all Clients (Pharmacies) allocated to you.
- Execute Marketing strategy in field and ensure visibility of the company's Products in these pharmacies.
- Sell and promote against sales targets and achieve territory plan objectives.
- Implement and execute value-added programs across territory.
- Manage territory and develop a routine call cycle for all customers within the allocated territory.
- Build relationships with target customers to enhance product knowledge and gain product endorsement.
- Ensure all target customers are fully informed of the product range, correct product application /dosages by means of regular trainings and one-on-one detailing.
- General admin: Consolidate monthly expenses, weekly call planner and feedback on infield activities to Area sales Manager.
- Travel to defined geographies to promote products.
- Organize appointments and meetings with targeted pharmacies.
- Identify and establish new businesses in your area.
- Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
- Meet both the business and scientific needs of the healthcare professional Responsible pharmacist.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problem, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Review sales performance in monthly reviews and present territory.
- Attend company meetings, technical data presentation and briefings.
- Uplift any products if required.
- Build displays/ Gondola ends.
- Minimum 2- 3 years Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, Computer Literate.
- Valid Driver's license and own vehicle.
- Diploma / Degree.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Science/ Sales and Marketing or business.
