Cloud Governance Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Governance Analyst to lead our cloud cost management initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing cloud governance best practices, focusing on tagging, cost control, and compliance. You will also lead cloud cost management initiatives, including billing analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement cloud governance best practices, focusing on tagging, cost control, and compliance.
  • Lead cloud cost management initiatives, including billing analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization.
  • Apply and expand your expertise in cloud services with leading platforms like Azure or Oracle Cloud.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards, ensuring secure and compliant cloud usage.
  • Utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, enhancing your communication and teamwork abilities.
Requirements
  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services and cloud providers, such as Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience in cloud cost management, including billing analysis, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance best practices and principles, including tagging, cost control, and compliance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, cost-saving opportunities, and make informed decisions related to cloud governance and cost management.
