Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at Recru-it. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure, software development, DevOps, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing highly available, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS, with a focus on data, security, and IAM.
  • Experience with cloud security technologies, including authentication and authorization, data encryption, and access control.
  • Experience with scripting and provisioning tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS, with a focus on networking.
  • Experience in a financial services or banking organization.
  • Infrastructure security experience.
  • Experience with big data technologies, such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Storm.
  • Experience with ELK, New Relic, or similar on public cloud platforms.
Education:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in AWS Foundation or Cloud Computing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or AWS Data/Security certification.
Skills:
  • Cloud data security experience.
  • Data security experience.
  • Data masking and tokenization knowledge.
  • Data governance understanding.
  • Data privacy regulations knowledge.
  • Cloud experience.
  • Data encryption knowledge.
