Job Description

As a Regional Business Development Director, you will be responsible for managing the overall business in your respective region. Your primary goal will be to ensure all business objectives are met according to the company's strategy and goals.

You will dictate the relationship between Getinge Middle East and the distribution network, evaluating and recommending new distributors to achieve long-term channel management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business reviews with distributors to assess their performance and compliance with company policies.
  • Evaluate and appraise distributors based on their sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market growth.
  • Own the forecast accuracy of the portfolio, ensuring accurate sales projections and target achievement.
  • Maintain a solid relationship with senior teams of distributors, acting as a liaison between them, Getinge customer services, and product specialists.
  • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders across the portfolios and key accounts' C-suites.
  • Implement sales plans to achieve sales objectives, ensuring sales targets are met through proper planning, forecasting, and monitoring.
  • Ensure business operations are fully compliant with the GG Code of Conduct, identifying and communicating service issues promptly.
  • Direct responsibility for accounts receivables, developing initiatives to develop market potentials and new growth opportunities.
  • Engage distributors in clinical marketing activities, aligning product global roadmaps with local geographies.
  • Ensure product plans are aligned with company strategy and country action plans are developed and executed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in channel management.
  • Able and willing to travel extensively within the region of responsibility.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in the healthcare/MedTech industry sales area.
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges of the market.
  • Experience in managing large sales projects.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in public tenders' procedures.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and developing initiatives.
  • Strong organization skills and high level of integrity.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
