Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at HR Genie in South Africa. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving business development and sales across the SADC region.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in the logistics, supply chain, and transportation industries. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across South Africa and cross-border regions (Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia).

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion across the SADC region.
  • Cross-Border Sales: Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of services within the logistics, supply chain, and transportation industries across South Africa and Lesotho, Swaziland, and Namibia.
  • Client Relationship Building: Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships within the region.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development within the SADC region.
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in high-turnover environments.
  • Strong understanding of the SADC region, with experience in Lesotho, Swaziland, and Namibia.
