Key Account Development Specialist

Job DescriptionThis role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining sound relations with clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyze situations critically, and have a keen interest in technical operations.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Development: Negotiate with clients for trading terms and meet their needs according to proposed timelines.
- Client Management: Develop a complete understanding of key account needs, maintain sound relations with all clients, and resolve key client issues and complaints.
- Business Improvement: Anticipate key account changes and improvements, keep abreast with market trends, and recommend system and process improvements as required.
- Experience: At least 5 years sales and customer service experience or within a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification, a relevant tertiary qualification, and a project management related course (advantageous).
- Skills: Experience in managing a client database with face-to-face interaction, ability to critically analyze situations, good planning and time management skills, and excellent computer knowledge (all MS Office packages).
