Job Summary: We seek an experienced and skilled Junior Administration Assistant to join our team at Persona Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the switchboard and receive guests in a professional manner.
  • Sign for parcels and handle general administrative tasks.
  • Maintain and update registers and manage parking allocation.
  • Perform general office administration duties, including petty cash, office supplies, and shopping.
  • Coordinate training administration and arrangements.
  • Manage international and domestic travel arrangements, log tickets, and deal with travel reports.
  • Assist with event management and maintain office equipment.
  • Update and maintain HR registers, including sick leave, time and attendance, induction, and orientation.
  • Assist new employees with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Focused and performance-driven individual with excellent writing and communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Strong administrative skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with a strong numerical orientation.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and take a proactive approach to work and problem-solving.
  • Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Grade 12 with mathematics.
  • Experience in managing a company travel desk would be beneficial, as would HR experience.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Access to home internet (preferably fibre).
