Job Title: Senior Sales Representative
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our Sales Team and cover the Johannesburg area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Call on Orthopaedic surgeons in their rooms, in theatre, and hospital tearooms.
- Sell medical devices on a daily basis.
- Administer weekly and monthly reports, stock take, quotes for repairs, and product orders.
- Call on Matrons, scrub sisters, pharmacy managers, CSSD sisters, and stock controllers.
- Conduct regular workshops with Doctors, scrub sisters, and CSSD sisters.
- Participate in constant online trainings for development.
- Collaborate with the team and other divisions.
- Scrub up for theatre cases – CRICE certified.
- Travel 70-80% of the time.
- Reside in or close to the territory.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Sales experience in the Sportsmed field with a Diploma in a related field.
- Higher Education preferable.
- Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations a must.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Outgoing and persuasive manner and ability to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values.
- Confidence and persistence.
- Patience and self-motivation.
- Analytical and planning skills.
- Flexible approach to work in order to adapt to changes.
- Strong teamwork and networking skills.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- Valid driving license.
