Job Overview

The Insurance Growth Specialist will drive expansion in personal insurance by converting company-supplied leads into new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead Conversion: Engage with provided leads, build relationships, and assess their insurance needs to offer suitable solutions.
  • Client Acquisition: Convert leads into new business by presenting personalized insurance products tailored to client needs.
  • Account Management: Build strong client relationships, ensuring seamless onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on insurance products and industry trends to provide expert advice.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales activities and performance.
  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure retention.
Requirements:
  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  • Certifications: Insurance-related certifications (e.g., NQF Level 4, RE5) are beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of personal insurance products.
Working Environment:
  • Location: Kloof, Durban, KZN.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Reports To: General Manager Personal Underwriting & Account Management.
