We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for hotel accommodation in Durban.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing customer requests in a timely and professional manner, working closely with various hotel suppliers to procure accommodation and ensure customer needs are exceeded on every request.

To be successful in this role, you will possess impeccable phone and email manners, strong communication and customer service skills, and keen attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to email and phone call requests for hotel accommodation from customers
  • Interacting with hotel suppliers to book and confirm reservations
  • Working on company systems and supplier websites to procure accommodation
  • Ensuring customer needs are met on every request
  • Compiling operational reports

In order to succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum qualification of a post-grade 12 diploma
  • Excellent phone etiquette and written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver customer requests timeously
  • High proficiency in English and at least one other language
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience handling reservations, preferably in a central reservations desk environment
