We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Hotelexpress as a Hospitality Customer Service Representative.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that operates during business hours, Monday to Saturday, based in Durban. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients requesting hotel accommodations.

Your primary duties will include responding to email and phone requests, interacting with hotel suppliers to confirm bookings, and working on company systems and supplier websites to procure accommodation.

Our ideal candidate possesses impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, and has a keen eye for detail. A strong background in MS Office applications and CRM experience is highly desirable.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have a high level of proficiency in English and at least one other language. A minimum of 2 years' experience handling reservations, preferably in a central reservations desk environment, is also essential.

Salary Range: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and phone
  • Interact with hotel suppliers to confirm bookings and negotiate rates
  • Utilize company systems and supplier websites to procure accommodation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification post Grade 12
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • High level of proficiency in English and at least one other language
  • Minimum 2 years' experience handling reservations
