Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to research and develop various marketing strategies for our company's products. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing plans and working to meet sales quotas, as well as tracking marketing and sales data to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Build and lead a team of motivated, high-achieving sales people.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on annuity revenue in the SME market.
  • Drive sales targets with the team to meet the company's annual growth projections.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with our premium customer base clients.
  • Generate, qualify, and convert new leads.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products into our existing customer base.
  • Identify opportunities in our product portfolio and marketing campaigns to generate sales.
  • Manage productivity and reporting for the sales team.

Marketing

  • Maintain accurate information on our company website.
  • Design promotional web pages to track the effectiveness of other marketing initiatives.
  • Seek to maximize income, set goals, and track versus internal and external benchmarks and KPIs.
  • Seek to minimize marketing expenses, develop annual forecasts, and strategies.
  • Write, produce, and ensure the effective delivery of integrated marketing plans.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the brand message and representation is consistently professional across all channels and marketing efforts.
  • Effectively monitor, measure, and report against marketing activity to ensure return on investment and meet growth targets for various channels, organic, referral, paid search, and direct channels.
  • Drive, own, and manage website lead conversions in line with traffic volumes.
  • Present creative initiatives for brand awareness and monitor competitor trends and performance.
  • Develop marketing plans, including market research, analysis, company position, designing proposals, and recommendations regarding media, content, advertising, and sales.
  • Execute email marketing and display advertising.
  • Verify all advertising for the company in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.
  • Facilitate social media engagement and update content in local digital channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts, as well as constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive PR plan per quarter, along with agency management and distribution of all PR from the business, and execute post-sign-off.
