Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Sanlam.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the branch team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the branch team, including boarding and administration of advisor contracts
  • Conduct checks for all new appointments, including Agent, DOFA, FSB, and MIE checks
  • Assist with training material and brochure orders in support of product changes
  • Prepare and upload relevant documentation for new sales managers, BDs, and advisors
  • Ensure branch training registers are updated and filed monthly
  • Complete adviser and manager termination forms accurately and submit them to the Branch Manager for approval
  • Assist with uploading performance management documents

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure all new business is checked and processed within 24 hours of receipt
  • Ensure unissued application forms are followed up on for outstanding requirements
  • Assist outsourced brokers with uploading replacement documents onto Shango
  • Check and provide an update on SSLP pending new business

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in an administrative capacity in an operational environment
  • Experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated client engagement experience
  • Experience working on office management or task management systems (MS Outlook / Teams and Jira)

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Diploma or degree in a related field will be advantageous
