Job Summary

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Administration Branch, ensuring the smooth functioning of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to customer needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for personnel files, terminations, and other relevant documents.
  • Sort, stamp, and distribute system-generated leave balance letters efficiently.
  • Manage the removal and return of files, arranging for archiving as required.
  • Distribute pay slips and circulars accurately.
  • Prepare all requisitions and related assignments.
  • Drive and transport staff for interviews as needed.

Requirements

  1. Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification with a certificate in administration, office management, public management, business administration, or human resource management.
  2. A minimum of two years' relevant experience in an administrative role.
