Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Tracker South Africa.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our internal and external customers, ensuring that all interactions are professional, efficient, and courteous.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a reception environment or a relevant tertiary qualification, with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Operate and direct all calls on the switchboard, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Welcome visitors and customers, contacting the relevant department for assistance as needed.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including maintaining security procedures and monitoring the logbook.
  • Liaise with internal staff and departments to ensure messages and information are timeously and correctly processed.
  • Assist with various tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Administer stock, including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
  • Create installation certificates and vehicle lists for clients as required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, ensuring that all necessary materials are available.
Requirements
  • A Matric certificate or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a reception environment or a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • An immaculately groomed appearance, with a friendly and energetic personality.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English, with a passion for customer service and a professional attitude at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
  • Computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
