Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hollywoodbets in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the branch to achieve business objectives in accordance with the regional and retail operations strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing the branch to achieve business objectives
  • Drive business results by creating an open dialogue with guests to educate them on all branch products
  • Ensure betting boards are updated timeously
  • Update memos, card changes, results, and scratchings throughout the day
  • Be knowledgeable on all game rules, odds, and pay-outs
  • Manage cash administration within the branch according to defined processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with FICA regulations
  • Manage branch reporting, including daily newsflashes and stock control
  • Ensure security management, including awareness of surroundings and adherence to security protocols
  • Manage branch appearance, including maintaining a neat and tidy environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience in the gaming or betting industry
  • Bonus to have: relevant diploma, degree, or NQF 4 learnership, valid driver's license, and 1-2 years leadership experience
