Job Title: Vehicle Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Recovery Specialist to join our team at iOCO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, brokers, and SAPS members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Update progress on each recovery on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage appointed service providers with respect to towing clearance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Identify vehicles on behalf of the insurer/client, utilizing your expertise in SAPS procedures and SAPVIN numbers.
  • Cancellation of circulation by the SAPS is ensured, guaranteeing accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • Background knowledge of SAPS procedures regarding stolen and recovered vehicles.
  • Proficiency in SAPVIN numbers and the process to apply them.
  • Understanding of Unicode and its application in vehicle identification.
  • Knowledge of stolen vehicle investigations and the ability to differentiate between stolen, hijacked, and tampered vehicles.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in various software applications.
