Regional Manager: Liaison and Partners Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our Liaison and Partners Services team. As a key member of our operations team, this role is responsible for managing critical response services and developing and maintaining partnerships with provincial recovery structures to improve recovery rates through crime intelligence gathering.

Key responsibilities include:

Investigations and Compliance

Ensure activated vehicles are recovered in a timely manner
Develop and implement provincial action plans that address partnership and liaison and recovery rates
Meet compliance expectations on time
Standardize training across the province aligned to the National Head Office vision
Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to within the province

Intelligence Management

Deliver statistical reports supported by visual and/or graphical presentation before the last working day of the month
Accurately report on provincial vehicle crime trends to stakeholders
Timeously implement action plans and procedures
Accurately report on vehicle crime prevention, combating, and investigation methods
Suggest action plans to stakeholders, both private and public, on the above

Liaison

Deliver monthly and quarterly visit schedules
Deliver reports on vehicle crime trends and intelligence gathered to all stakeholders
Effectively manage queries and accounts, and deliver monthly reports to the manager
Ad hoc projects
Effectively communicate and coordinate vehicle-related projects within the province

Management of Staff

Conduct performance discussions on time and score delivered
Ensure the development of subordinates
Manage department budget
Actual versus budget

Minimum Requirements

National Diploma: Criminal Justice, Policing, or Criminology related at NQF level 6
Vehicle Tracking systems, processes, and procedures
3-5 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience or above-average knowledge in the South African Police Services, SANDF, Other Law Enforcement Agencies, or Private Security Industry
Above-average understanding of the Criminal Procedure Act
Above-average understanding of the Firearms Control Act
Above-average understanding of Vehicle-Related Crime in South Africa
Clear Criminal Record - Undergoing polygraph screening annually - Pre & Post employment
Pre & Post employment - Firearm, Technical, Tactical, and Defensive Driving assessments and training
Valid PSIRA Grade B & Armed Response Certificate
Valid Firearm Competency Certificate
Valid Code EB - Driver's Licence
Valid South African Identity Document & or Card
Willingness to work shifts and overtime as per an approved shift roster, including weekends and public holidays
Willingness to be deployed nationally with reasonable prior notification and consultation
Willingness to perform planned and unplanned standby duties and special operations as, and when, required
Willingness to be deployed in an environment that can be considered dangerous and hostile while working in the confines of a set SOP
