Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, brokers, and law enforcement agencies to coordinate vehicle recovery efforts.
  • Ensure timely updates on the status of each recovery operation.
  • Manage relationships with appointed service providers to ensure seamless towing and clearance processes.
  • Identify vehicles on behalf of insurers and clients, utilizing expertise in SAPS procedures and SAPVIN numbers.
  • Verify that vehicle circulation is correctly canceled by law enforcement agencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in SAPS procedures regarding stolen and recovered vehicles.
  • Knowledge of SAPVIN numbers and the process for applying them.
  • Understanding of Unicode and its application in vehicle identification.
  • Experience in stolen vehicle investigations and the ability to differentiate between stolen, hijacked, and tampered vehicles.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with microdot processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Location: KwaZulu-Natal.
  • Travel will be required, and a roadworthy vehicle is necessary.
