We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vehicle Recovery Expert to join our team at iOCO. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, brokers, and law enforcement agencies to facilitate the recovery process.
  • Ensure timely updates on the status of each recovery operation.
  • Manage relationships with appointed service providers to ensure seamless towing and clearance services.
  • Identify and verify vehicles on behalf of insurers and clients, as required.
  • Verify that vehicle circulation is correctly canceled by law enforcement agencies.

Required Expertise:

  • Thorough knowledge of law enforcement procedures regarding stolen and recovered vehicles.
  • Understanding of SAPVIN numbers and their application process.
  • Knowledge of Unicode and its relevance to vehicle identification.
  • Experience in stolen vehicle investigations and recovery operations.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Ability to differentiate between stolen, hijacked, and tampered vehicles.
  • Understanding of SAPVIN numbers and the process for applying them.
  • Knowledge of microdot processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Location: KwaZulu-Natal.
  • Travel: Travel will be required, and a reliable roadworthy vehicle is essential.
