Vehicle Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Recovery Specialist to join our team at iOCO. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, brokers, and SAPS members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Update progress on each recovery on a regular basis to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage appointed service providers with respect to towing clearance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Identify vehicles on behalf of the insurer/client, utilizing your expertise in SAPS procedures and SAPVIN numbers.
  • Cancellation of circulation by the SAPS is also a critical aspect of this role.
Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • Background knowledge of SAPS procedures regarding stolen and recovered vehicles.
  • Proficiency in SAPVIN numbers and the process of applying them.
  • Understanding of Unicode and its application in vehicle identification.
  • Knowledge of stolen vehicle investigations and the ability to differentiate between stolen, hijacked, and tampered vehicles.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to work with various software systems.
