Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the company's success and growth in Africa. This role will focus on strategic planning, customer support, project execution, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business strategies and procedures.
  • Establish comprehensive performance and growth goals.
  • Convert inquiries into orders and enhance customer satisfaction through improved support processes.
  • Oversee existing and future projects, ensuring successful execution.
  • Supervise staff across various departments, managing daily operations and delegation.
  • Manage operational budgets to promote profitability and sustainability.
  • Ensure policies that align with the company's culture and vision are implemented.
  • Monitor daily operations and staff performance across all departments.
  • Analyse and interpret performance data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Prepare and submit reports and feedback to the Managing Director on key issues.
  • Assist the RMD in fundraising ventures whenever needed.
  • Engage in expansion activities including investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the security field, with at least 3 years in an operations manager role.
  • Experience in high-risk and control risk security is advantageous.
  • Understanding of industry legal rules, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of various business functions including supply chain, finance, customer service, and human resources.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with good time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and able to speak & understand Portuguese language is required.
