Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Support Specialist to join our team at Tower Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Sales and Service teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient execution of sales objectives. Key responsibilities include data analysis, report compilation, and maintenance of CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information is available for informed decision-making.
  • Consolidate reports from various departments to facilitate data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analyst team to prepare reports for senior management.
  • Create Excel models to analyze sales trends and customer behavior.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager, ensuring effective office management.
  • Prepare meeting minutes for regular Sales Business Review meetings.
  • Maintain the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system to guarantee timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to enhance sales and service processes.
  • Supply sales and service-related information as required, leveraging current portfolio data.
  • Deliver specific client information/reports to the sales team through in-depth analysis.
  • Present monthly performance reports on regional sales teams' achievement against targets.
  • Extract relevant data to support budget compilation and revenue target determination.
  • Manage stationery, housekeeping, and cash sales.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Administrator as needed.
  • Offer administrative and secretarial support to the Sales Manager.
  • Exercise some staff supervision.

Cost Management:

  • Contribute to the compilation of the regional sales and service budget for revenue target determination.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a Matric (Grade 12) and a Diploma in Information Technology or Marketing Management. At least three years of experience in sales administration is essential. Advanced Excel skills and excellent English language proficiency are mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required. The ideal candidate should possess business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being a team player.
