Job Title: Fleet Sales SpecialistJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Fleet Sales Specialist to join our team at Bidvest Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing fleet and asset finance sales opportunities within agreed segments to achieve desired targets and build effective relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute fleet and asset finance sales opportunities within agreed segments to achieve desired targets.
  2. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  3. Proactively identify and develop business potential.
  4. Maximize bank profitability through cross-selling and acquiring new business.
  5. Manage and service existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in the fleet or banking industry.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of energy and drive.
  • Excellent leadership and initiative-taking skills.
Responsibilities:Finance:
  • Attain new business targets in line with fleet and asset finance chosen segment.
  • Achieve targets by driving and securing quality business at risk.
  • Pro-actively identify and develop business potential.
  • Gather and submit information about competitor activity and market development.
Operational Excellence:
  • Service and sell to existing and potential customers through effective service and sales management.
  • Grow new customer base through networking, cold-calling, and effective sales tactics.
  • Cross-sell VAF's insurance products and maximize fees recovered on the portfolio.
Customer Centricity:
  • Develop and maintain close business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Establish and build one-on-one relationships with customers in assigned portfolios.
  • Ensure effective sales reporting to applicable stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • 3-5 years experience in the fleet or banking industry.
  • FAIS qualification preferred.
  • Credit Fundamentals preferred.
  • Presentation skills essential.
  • Business case skills essential.
  • Selling skills essential.
