Fleet Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Sales Representative to join our team at Time Personnel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing direct fleet sales, and procuring relationships with fleet owners and corporate business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets as set by the company.
  • Manage direct fleet sales and indirect distribution sales for the company.
  • Procure relationships with fleet owners and corporate business in line with company objectives.
  • Procure relationships with insurance brokers and underwriting managers in your assigned area in line with company objectives.
  • Conduct satisfactory product presentations from workshop level to director level.
  • Compile and achieve sales budget within agreed expense levels.
  • Learn the sales features and benefits of company products and services offered to its customer base to the company's satisfaction.
  • Become familiar with the company's and products classed as opposition.
  • Compile required reports in accordance with departmental company requirements.
  • Submit signed Broker/Franchise dealer Service Level Agreements per month.
  • Ensure customers or potential customers have company credit approval and have an accounted open prior to supplying goods and services.
  • Provide after-sales service to customers and promote a positive image of the company.
  • Be responsible for company assets, clothing, and equipment in your possession and control.
  • Develop and keep up-to-date the branches customer database as per the company's requirement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years prior experience in a fleet/truck/transport-related sales environment.
  • Member of CIT/IRTE or similar professional body.
  • Qualification in the Sales or Marketing sector advantageous.
  • Good command of the English language written and spoken. Afrikaans advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license for a passenger vehicle (code 8).
  • Clean criminal record (criminal clearance certificate essential).
  • Fully computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
