Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in hotel sales, event coordination, or a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a 4 or 5-star property.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high-quality client service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the Polokwane and Limpopo market is advantageous.
