Short Term Insurance Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Short Term Insurance Team Lead to join our team at Standard Bank of South Africa Limited. As a key member of our organization, this role will require you to oversee the management of our Call Centre based claims area nationally.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our company's cost containment and customer service levels are met. To achieve this, you will need to conduct regular performance appraisals and address any performance gaps with our consultants.

This role also involves managing the performance of our consultants, maintaining accurate records of their performance and development plans, and ensuring that our company remains compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.

Qualifications and Experience

A relevant Short-Term Insurance FAIS qualification and experience is required. A minimum of 6 years' experience in short term insurance is necessary, as well as a minimum of 2 years relevant Homeowner's Insurance / Short term insurance claims experience in a management capacity/leadership role.

A broad and sound insurance background on Personal lines Insurance cover and claims is also essential.
