Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Standard Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry, with a strong focus on procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will also hold a relevant qualification, such as a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive cost savings and improve service delivery
- Building strong relationships with external suppliers to negotiate best-in-class rates and terms
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on key performance indicators

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant qualification, such as a Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Valid driver's license
