Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer telephone calls and initiate customer calls as needed.
- Provide customers with accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries.
- Take proactive steps to retain customers and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively, adhering to underwriting and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate customer data and process payments as required.
- Handle customer concerns and objections in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a call centre environment, preferably within the insurance field.
- High degree of patience, assertiveness, and excellent rapport-building skills.
- Ability to positively contribute and lead in team activities.
- Effective time management and a positive attitude.
- Emotional intelligence and a team player.
Working Conditions:
- Afternoon and night shifts - Monday to Sunday (rotational shifts).
- Candidates are required to have fibre or live in a fibre-enabled area.
