About the Role

IQbusiness is seeking an experienced Transformation Strategist to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing the people impacts caused by projects and organizational change efforts.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured organizational design approach to manage the people impacts caused by projects and organizational change efforts.
  • Create a change management and OD strategy based on situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted.
  • Update policies, processes, and procedures, and ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify potential people impacts, risks, and develop plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Design and implement a RACI matrix.
  • Develop targeted change management plans, including stakeholder and communication plans, impact management plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders, and coach them on managing impacts and resistance.
  • Act as an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change and OD sponsors.
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Identify anticipated points of resistance and manage this to acceptance and adoption, or implement corrective action.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience as a Change Manager.
  • Agile experience.
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Employment Legislation applicable within South Africa.
  • Project Management and Planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prosci/ ACMP / CCMP certification.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is around R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
