Market Overview

The market for our products and solutions is highly competitive, and we require a talented individual to lead our efforts in developing and managing marketing strategies to grow product brands that deliver short- and long-term growth and profitability in line with our company vision. As a Market Solutions Director, you will be responsible for defining customer and market requirements, growth and profit strategies, business planning, road mapping, and driving business performance across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with sales teams and partners to ensure alignment and achieve sales targets for each product brand.

Some of your key duties will include:
  1. Identifying business opportunities for various product brands.
  2. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to grow product brands.
  3. Managing the products, solutions, and services assigned with full responsibility for the results.
  4. Defining customer and market requirements, growth and profit strategies, business planning, road mapping.
  5. Driving business performance across the product lifecycle.


In addition to these responsibilities, you will also provide support to the sales team with regards product knowledge, drive key performance indicators, arrange and conduct product presentations, and provide technical training to sales staff on various products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in sales or product management, with previous experience working in an environment where you are responsible for sales forecasting and demand planning in terms of clients' requirements. A matric and a sciences degree or diploma are essential for this role, and computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is also required.
