Job Description

Fusion Personnel seeks a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how our products and services can meet those needs.
  2. Cold-calling and canvassing for new business opportunities.
  3. Completing call sheets and submitting them on a weekly basis.
  4. Answering customers' questions about our product ranges, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  5. Quoting prices, credit terms, and completing and submitting tender documentation timeously.
  6. Negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  7. Ensuring mutually agreeable solutions to problems experienced by customers.
  8. Maintaining customer records using automated systems.
  9. Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  10. Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing.
  11. Selecting the correct products or assisting customers in making product selections based on customers' needs.
  12. Collaborating with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information.
  13. Preparing sales presentations and proposals that explain product specifications and applications.
  14. Demonstrating and explaining the operation and use of products.
  15. Providing customers with ongoing technical support.
  16. Informing customers of estimated delivery schedules.
  17. Attending sales and trade meetings and reading related publications.
