Business Development Consultant

At Boardroom Appointments, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and develop new business leads to meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • Full recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
  • FAIS Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5) certification.
  • 12 CPD points.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in selling short-term insurance.
  • All required regulatory exams and accreditation.
  • Must have own vehicle and license.
