This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team at Platinum Placements as a Sales Manager - Heavy Machinery. As a sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and leading a team of experienced sales representatives across multiple regions in the mining sector.
You will work closely with our team to develop and implement sales plans, manage CRM tools, and refine sales strategies based on market insights.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
- Manage CRM tools and sales processes to optimize efficiency.
- Refine sales strategies based on market insights and competitor activity.
- Bid for projects and monitor project progress.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain customer relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in heavy equipment sales, including wheel loaders, excavators, rollers, grader, bulldozer, etc.
- Proven record of success throughout the sales process from planning to closing.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and business writing skills.
- Familiarity with sales, costing, and margins.
- Driven, positive attitude, and excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
