Strategic HR Leader

At Performability, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management and be able to provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on HR-related matters.
We offer a competitive salary package of approximately $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job Description:- Recruitment and Hiring:
- Manage the recruitment process from start to end, including writing job descriptions, carrying out initial screening interviews, and putting forward suitable candidates for management's consideration.
- Ensure that all new employees undergo thorough background checks before being hired.
- Employee Relations:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels, including addressing grievances and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related issues, such as leave, benefits, and performance management.
- Performance Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management system that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to improve their performance.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer and manage employee benefits, including medical aid, pension fund, and other benefits.
- Ensure that all benefits are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Compliance:
- Ensure that the company complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including labor relations, equality, and data protection.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and ensure that the company is prepared to adapt to these changes.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competitive Salary:
