Customer Service Ambassador

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Ambassador to join our EXL Service team in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while handling INBOUND insurance queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a positive customer experience through accurate and timely issue resolution
- Process new business, renewals, amendments, and cancellations of policies while maintaining accuracy of customer data
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Achieve operational metrics/SLAs by adhering to call and customer account handling policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of Operations and Corporate Compliance, Policies, and Procedures as well as Best Practices when conducting business with customers
- Participate in weekly and monthly coaching sessions to enhance skills and performance
- Stay up-to-date with ongoing trainings associated with role and business unit objectives
Requirements:
- 6 months contact centre experience
- Matric certificate required
- South African citizenship
- Cape Town residency
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication
- Well-spoken (voice assessment will take place)
What We Offer:
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of R120 000 - R180 000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include a rotational shift schedule of 9 hours from 2pm to 3am, Monday to Friday, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
