The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations at our client's golf course and country club.", "Key Responsibilities": "
  • Develop and implement budgets for food and beverage production and service.
  • Directly supervise the Head Chef, Duty Managers, and managers of all other outlets.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to assure member and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and take corrective action to ensure budget goals are attained.
  • Assure effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff.
  • Inspect to ensure safety, sanitation, and other standards are consistently met.
  • Assure standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently utilized.
  • Help plan and approve external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities.
  • Manage long-range staffing needs and approve menus proposed by the Head Chef.
  • Establish quantity and quality output standards for personnel.
  • Ensure legal requirements are consistently adhered to.
  • Research new products and develop analysis of cost/profit benefits.
  • Maintain food and beverage personnel records.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for food and beverage departments.
  • Monitor purchasing and receiving procedures.
  • Review new techniques for food preparation and presentation.
  • Consult with the Head Chef and other administrators daily.
  • Greet guests and oversee actual service.
  • Help develop wine lists and bottle/glass wine sales promotion programs.
  • Develop on-going professional development and training programs.
  • Ensure correct handling procedures to minimize breakage and waste.
  • Address member and guest complaints.
  • Develop ways of promoting club functions in all F&B aspects of the facility.
