Job Title: Food and Beverage Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Controller to join our team at BGA Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Club Stores and staff, overseeing the procurement process, and ensuring all Club procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compiling and implementing stock and stores control procedures for food, beverage, household materials, and stationery.
  • Managing the administration process within Food and Beverage Administration, including month-end finalization.
  • Ensuring all Food and Beverage Administration staff adheres to procedures and meets deadlines.
  • Controlling stock volumes and ensuring they are within the prescribed stock holding days.
  • Approving all food, beverage, household materials, and stationery orders before stock is ordered.
  • Ensuring uniformity across all inventory areas and inventory codes within Jonas.
  • Compiling monthly stock count rosters and managing stock counts.
  • Investigating food and beverage valuation/variance reports and working with Food and Beverage Management to resolve issues.
  • Investigating food and beverage COS overs against budget and suggesting improvements to Food and Beverage Management.
  • Working closely with Food and Beverage Managers to identify problem areas and assist with procedures/controls.
  • Generating and submitting daily/weekly food cost reports as determined by management.
  • Closing off inventory areas at month-end and finalizing the stock reconciliation.
  • Compiling and posting inventory journals in the general ledger.
  • Completing reconciliations related to the Food and Beverage operation as determined by the Administration Department.
  • Assisting with annual food and beverage budget and compiling necessary reconciliations and reports for the year-end audit.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a F&B Controller position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Jonas.
  • Diploma/Degree in F&B Management/Hospitality.
