Food and Beverage Financial Manager

PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE
This position is accountable for overseeing the Club's inventory and the personnel associated with it.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive stock and inventory management protocols for food, beverages, household supplies, and office materials.
- Overseeing the administrative functions within Food and Beverage Management through to the completion of monthly financial processes.
- Ensuring that all staff within Food and Beverage Administration comply with established procedures and meet deadlines set by the Administration Department.
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure they remain within the limits prescribed by Management.
- Verifying that all orders for food, beverages, household supplies, and office materials receive prior approval before procurement.
- Maintaining consistency across all inventory categories and codes within the management system.
- Preparing monthly stock count schedules and managing the stock counting process.
- Reviewing all food and beverage valuation reports and collaborating with management to investigate discrepancies.
- Analyzing food and beverage cost of sales against budget and proposing improvements to management.
- Collaborating closely with Food and Beverage Managers to identify inventory issues and assist with procedural enhancements.
- Generating and submitting daily/weekly food cost reports as required by management.
- Finalizing and closing all inventory areas at month-end within the specified deadlines.
- Compiling and posting inventory entries in the financial ledger.
- Preparing and finalizing stock reconciliations.
- Creating a monthly Food and Beverage report that includes individual profit and loss statements for each outlet and organizing a monthly review meeting.
- Completing reconciliations related to the Food and Beverage operations as directed by the Administration Department.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual food and beverage budget.
- Compiling necessary reconciliations and reports for year-end audits and conducting various audits related to food and beverage inventory as required by management.
FOOD & BEVERAGE CONTROLLER
- Implementing and managing the Procurement function within Food and Beverage as outlined by the Procurement Policy.
- Ensuring adherence to the Procurement Policy within the Food and Beverage departments and reporting any deviations to management.
- Confirming that stock is ordered from the approved supplier list at the agreed pricing.
- Resolving pricing discrepancies promptly within Food and Beverage Administration.
- Updating selling prices and menu changes in the management system as authorized by management and configuring the point of sale systems accordingly.
- Collaborating with management on proposed selling price adjustments.
- Supervising all Food and Beverage Administration personnel.
- Compiling, approving, and submitting monthly overtime schedules for Food and Beverage administrative staff.

MINIMUM / PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years of experience in a Food and Beverage Controller role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
QUALIFICATION
Diploma or Degree in Food and Beverage Management or Hospitality.
