Job Summary

The Hiring House is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leasing Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leasing and managing commercial, retail, office park, and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Tenant Management
    • Coordinate with brokers to determine market rental rates and trends
    • Negotiate new leases and renewals with tenants
    • Manage tenant relationships and resolve any issues or queries
  • Property Administration
    • Update property details and vacancy information on a regular basis
    • Prepare and maintain all necessary documents for contracts, amendments, and lease summaries
    • Ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial Management
    • Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accurate income statements
    • Explain any queries or discrepancies to Asset Managers
    • Effect regular lease audits to ensure system information versus lease documentation is correct
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Compile and distribute reports and information as required by Regional Manager, Head of Property Management, and Asset Managers
    • Collaborate with Property Managers to report on all aspects of property management
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or relevant diploma/degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a relevant field, with at least 3 years in a leasing position
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and relevant software packages
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerate accuracy
