Key Responsibilities:

As a Property Manager at NexChapter Recruitment, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned retail properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.

Additionally, you will oversee leasing processes, including negotiating leases, managing renewals, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.

Financial management is also a key aspect of this role, as you will monitor and manage property budgets, including operating expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting.

You will also be responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance and repair activities, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Market analysis is also a critical component of this role, as you will conduct research and analysis to stay informed about trends and developments in the retail property sector.

Finally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies, handling any legal issues or disputes related to property management.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a strong focus on retail properties.

A relevant degree or diploma in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.

You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.

Finally, you will need in-depth knowledge of retail property management practices and market trends.
