Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Growth Manager to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving regional strategy and growth activities across various channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer and leverage processes and technologies to meet business needs.
  • Produce high-quality outputs within agreed deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and execute sales campaigns across various channels to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Compile monthly tracking of delivery against pre-aligned targets and manage various partnerships effectively.
  • Manage own development by assessing own performance and requesting training and development opportunities.
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain and foster ethical dealings with customers and clients.
  • Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Cash Investments products to deliver comprehensive training for sales personnel.
  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of sales competitions or campaigns aimed at increasing sales.
  • Coordinate and manage product sales pipelines of different channels and make adjustments accordingly based on internal and market changes.
  • Provide input into the schedule for product sales pipeline and support Growth Managers in executing Segment strategies.
  • Take full responsibility and ownership of Profit & Loss (PnL) management and develop the Growth strategy for the sub-segment.
  • Define the success criteria by channel and assume the role of single point of contact for Cash Investments within Segment.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Relevant commercial degree in Business, Information Management, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Financial Management, Engineering, or Informatics.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability essential.
  • Proficiency in presenting to Executives at Exco, Manco, Regional sessions, and other governance forums.
  • Previous exposure in working with commercial/corporate clients will be a huge plus.
