Sales and Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at MC Technology Staffing.
As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for selling engineering and manufacturing software to clients. This will involve conducting on-site discovery meetings and needs assessments to understand the client's requirements.
You will also be responsible for maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) system, improving sales strategies, and performing sales-related tasks such as quoting, invoicing, and on-site installations.
In addition, you will maintain relationships between clients and other stakeholders, prepare weekly feedback reports, participate in marketing events, and prepare product demonstrations to showcase our software capabilities.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in sales, particularly in the manufacturing or engineering industries. You should have a Matric (Gr12) qualification and at least 3 years of previous sales experience.
A sales degree or diploma is advantageous, and experience with the machining industry, including tooling, machining, and CAD/CAM software, is highly desirable.
You must possess excellent sales, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as a valid driver's license. We also value candidates with a strong communication style and confidence when interacting with clients and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable using telecommunications and have a customer service attitude. Additionally, they will be interested in the sales, manufacturing, and engineering areas and be keen to grow within the company, potentially from Sales and Business Development Specialist to Team Leader or Sales Manager.
